Independent Nurse Practitioner

averhealth is seeking an Independent Nurse Practitioner to work 1-2 hours a week on a contract basis.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Review and assess patient case files
Approve or modify recommended treatment plans based on assessment and diagnosis.
Monitor approved treatments plan on an on-going basis and at a minimum of every 90 days
Provide clinical support, education, staff development, case management and supervisory functions for treatment plans



Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills
Ability to resolve internal and external conflicts and issues in an efficient and effective manner
Ability to maintain confidential patient and employee information and materials
Strong decision-making skills
Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and use time effectively
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook



Graduate of a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner’s program
Active unrestricted APRN license in the State of Idaho
Possess a Master’s Degree in nursing or a related field
Prior clinical experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance abuse treatment programs is preferred but not required
